The Icovia help system has navigation tools to make it easier for you to find information.
Contents
The Contents tab displays the help system like a book. Some help pages have subtopics, others don’t. Pages with subtopics are represented with a book symbol. Click on the book to show/hide subtopics. This make it easy for you to look for information, whether you are seeking information on specific commands or looking for information on how to perform specific tasks. Use this navigation tool to review topics listed in tabular form.
Index
The Index displays an index of all the topics in the help system. You can use the index to locate specific topics based on keywords.
Search
When all else fails and you just cannot find what you are looking for. The Search tool will look through all help pages for the word you enter.
Browse Sequences
A new feature to the Icovia help system is the topic browser. The two small arrows immediately below the Contents button depict the topic browser tool. This tool will move sequentially through topics based on the currently selected topic. If your current topic is a “top level” topic, the topic browser will move through all top level topics. If you are within a topic, it will move through all other subtopics within that topic. In some instances, the topic browser will move between subtopics to other relevant topics.
Links
Lastly, there are links within each topic page. Select a link (denoted by blue-underlined text) to see more information on the reference. Use your browser’s Back button to return to the originating topic.
