The first tool in the editor toolbar is object selection tool.  When this tool is activated, the cursor selects objects in the plan for manipulation and information.  Activate this editor tool by selecting the arrow symbol from the editor toolbar.

Click anywhere on the plan in the work area to select the object that you want to work with.  Once selected, you can delete, edit, move and lock objects.
