Problems Saving Plans

Return to chapter overview
1.To save a plan, click on the Save Plan command on the file menu.  The first time a plan is saved, clicking the Save Plan command will actually invoke the Save Plan command.  Once the plan has been saved, there is no visual confirmation upon subsequent saves.
2.Saving a plan is only possible if you have registered and are logged in.  If you have not already done so, it is recommended that you do so now.
3.Saving your plan frequently is highly advisable.  Icovia handles saved files differently than desktop applications, saving them in an online database rather than as visible files on your computer. Plans that have been saved will be available for future retrieval. Plans also need to be saved before they can be emailed or printed.

Note:  See Tips and Tricks for a method to save a printable snapshot of you plan to your computer.

Note:  If you are registered and have an active account, make sure that you are logged in or you will not be able to save your plan.

4.Use the Save Plan  command to save a new plan with all of the content of the current plan.

Note:  If you have successfully saved plans in the past but are now having trouble logging in, you may need to update your Flash Player plug-in. Occasionally Icovia updates its engine, and a newer version may not support your current version of Flash Player.
