The zoom in tool, found in the editor toolbar, provides a way to zoom in and re-center (pan) the image in the work area. The cursor will change to a magnifying glass with a + symbol to let you know that the current edit mode is set to zoom in.
When this command is activated, clicking in the work area will cause the work area view to zoom in and re-center on the point picked. This will continue until a ~11’ x 11’ area (~3m x 3m if working in metric units) is displayed. Use the zoom in tool in combination with the scroll bars to the right and at the bottom of the work area to adjust the view.
To zoom into a specified window:
1. | Click on the ![]() |
2. | Click again if you want to zoom in more. |
3. | You can keep clicking on the floor plan with the zoom in tool until you zoom in to the level you want. |
You can also zoom to a percentage of the normal view by selecting a value from the zoom % list at the bottom of the work area. You can also enter a number in the zoom % box to zoom to that level.
Note: You can also invoke a zoom in command in the middle of another action by pressing the [Ctrl] and [+] keys simultaneously.
