The zoom out tool, found in the editor toolbar, provides a way to zoom out and re-center the image in the work area. The cursor will change to a magnifying glass with a - symbol to let you know that the current edit mode is set to zoom out.
When this command is activated, clicking in the work area will cause the work area view to zoom out and re-center on the point picked. This will continue until a ~1,000’ x 1,000’ area (40M x 40M if working in metric units) is displayed. Use the zoom out tool in combination with the scroll bars to the right and at the bottom of the work area to adjust the view.
To Zoom Out:
1. | Click on the ![]() |
2. | Click again if you want to zoom out further. |
3. | You can keep clicking on the floor plan with the zoom out tool until you zoom in to the level you want. |
You can also select or enter the zoom percentage in zoom % box at the bottom of the screen on the left.
Note: You can also invoke a zoom out command in the middle of another action by pressing the [Ctrl] and [-] keys simultaneously.
